What we do

Five services. One standard. Built for healthcare.

We don't do everything. We do the things that matter most to a small medical practice, done the way HIPAA requires, not the way a generalist IT shop would improvise it.

01 · Managed IT

Managed IT & Helpdesk

Day-to-day support for your staff, workstations, network, and printers. Fast response when a front-desk computer won't log in at 7:45 AM.

02 · Compliance

HIPAA Compliance & Security

Technical safeguards aligned with 45 C.F.R. Part 164 — encryption, access controls, audit logging, incident response, and documentation.

03 · Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 for Healthcare

M365 tenants configured with the Microsoft BAA, MFA, conditional access, encrypted email, and audit logging — tuned for small healthcare practices.

04 · Continuity

Backup & Disaster Recovery

Encrypted, off-site, tested backups for your EHR data, documents, and workstations. Recovery plans designed for ransomware, not just hardware failure.

05 · EHR

EHR Support & Optimization

We don't replace your EHR vendor — we make sure the infrastructure around it stays fast, secure, and available. Because slow EHR means lost revenue.

05 · Telehealth

Telehealth (Teams + Zoom)

HIPAA-compliant telehealth deployment and support on Microsoft Teams and Zoom for Healthcare. BAA coverage, workflow integration, and provider training.

Most small medical practices work with a "family IT guy" or a general-purpose MSP, someone who fixes printers at a dentist one day and resets a server at a warehouse the next. That works for a coffee shop. It fails for a practice that has to answer to HIPAA, document technical safeguards, and maintain a defensible compliance posture if the Office for Civil Rights ever comes knocking.

The hardest question to ask your current IT provider is the simplest one: will you sign a Business Associate Agreement? If the answer isn't yes, in writing, you have a problem that has nothing to do with your computers.

Syntric exists because independent primary care practices in metro Atlanta deserve an IT partner that actually understands the regulatory context they operate in, and builds infrastructure that assumes, from the start, that the data on it is protected health information.

We specialize. We sign the BAA. We configure Microsoft 365 the way HIPAA expects it to be configured. And we document everything, so you have the evidence you need when a payer audit, an insurance carrier, or a regulator asks for it.

Partners

Microsoft and Zoom partners, purpose-built for healthcare.

We're enrolled in the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program and the Zoom Partner Program, which means we can deploy, configure, and support both platforms at the levels healthcare practices actually need. Signed BAAs, HIPAA-aligned configurations, and telehealth environments that work the first time.

BAA Business Associate Agreement
Signed

A signed BAA on every engagement, no exceptions.

Our standard Business Associate Agreement covers PHI safeguards, breach notification within 15 days, subcontractor flow-through obligations, and HITECH compliance. It's not an upsell. It's how we work.
